AccessAbility Day is an Australian Government initiative, connecting job seekers with disability and employers for a one day opportunity to:
- learn more about working with job seekers with disability
- promote and encourage an inclusive workplace
- access a talent pool of capable people who are keen to work
- learn more about free disability employment services and support available for employers.
How it Works
How can employers get involved?
An employer can host as many participants across as many job types as they are able to provide within their organisation. However, each participant can only be placed in each workplace for one day.
Still want to know more? Complete the form below and one of our team will come back to you.
Get involvedBusinesses who participate in AccessAbility Day with ON-Q, are helping to create opportunities for people with disability who are socially or economically disadvantaged.
An obligation free day for employers
AccessAbility Day is a voluntary, obligation free day for employers to have an opportunity to see the potential job seekers with disability can bring to the workplace and learn about available Government support. Once registered our experienced team at ON-Q Disability Employment Services will be in touch and help match a suitable participant with your workplace and job.
We will work with you and the participant every step of the way!
One in five people live with disability – however only half of them are employed.
This is a wonderful opportunity to allow the job seeker to gain insight into a particular job or type of work. If you are keen to get involved register with us today.
